1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing jandu.net (the "Site") and subscribing to our heritage email services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Jandu.net provides a private email registry and hosting service for the Jandu family community. We provide custom email prefixes (e.g., name@jandu.net) and mailbox hosting via third-party infrastructure (Zoho Mail).

3. Eligibility & Account Security

- Identity: You represent that you have a bona fide connection to the Jandu heritage or community.

- Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity occurring under your account is your sole responsibility.

- Unauthorised Use: You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

4. Fees and Payment

- Subscription: The Service is billed on a subscription basis (Yearly).

- Payment Processor: All payments are handled securely via Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

- Price Changes: We reserve the right to change our fees with 30 days' notice. Your continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes agreement to the new fee.

5. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

To protect the reputation of the jandu.net domain, you agree NOT to use your email account for:

- Spamming: Sending unsolicited bulk emails or marketing material without consent.

- Illegal Activity: Any fraudulent, defamatory, or criminal activity.

- Malware: Distributing viruses, worms, or any malicious software.

- Impersonation: Attempting to impersonate other family members or entities to deceive others.

- System Abuse: Actions that put an undue load on our infrastructure or third-party servers.

- Note: Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy will result in immediate termination of your account without a refund.

6. Limitation of Liability

- "As Is" Basis: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." While we strive for 100% uptime, we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

- Data Loss: It is your responsibility to back up important emails. We are not liable for any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.

- Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

- By You: You may cancel at any time via your dashboard or by contacting our support team.

- By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for breaches of these Terms or if our third-party providers (e.g., Zoho) require us to do so.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom [or your specific jurisdiction, e.g., Ontario, Canada]. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
